PHC Lease Program

Leasing a horse allows students to have the full experience of owning a horse without the high initial costs or risk associated with horse purchase. Our lease program is offered to all PHC Riding School students. Our lease packages offer exclusive use of a horse and its equipment for different durations and levels of riding. Leasing gives riders more saddle time, allowing them to develop and refine their skills. Riders will improve their equitation and benefit from focus on specific goals working with one horse, developing a true partnership. Coaches will develop a customized practice and lesson schedule with specific rider development objectives in mind.

Exclusive use of a show horse and its equipment, 7 days per week. For riders looking to join our PHC Show Team and compete in the OE Skills Development Series or Ontario A Circuit. Includes:

  • Unlimited use of specific horse

  • All required tack & equipment

  • Dental

  • Vaccinations

  • Mortality insurance

  • Bemer Horse Set

  • Training Rides

    Note: Does not include monthly Board Fees.

Riding school part-lease: $930 + HST per month FULL FOR 2023/24

Exclusive use of a school horse and its equipment for 3 days per week. For riders looking for more saddle time. Choose between 1 practice flat ride and 2 lessons per week OR 2 practice flat rides and 1 lesson per week. Available from October to March with 1 month commitment allowed. Includes:

  • Use of specific horse

  • All required tack and equipment

  • Board fee

  • Weekly lesson(s)

  • Feed, stall & daily maintenance of horse

  • Farrier costs

  • Dental

  • Vaccinations

  • Mortality insurance

  • No commission fee
