Pickering Horse Centre offers English riding lessons with a focus on Hunter, Jumper and Equitation. Our mission is to develop riders using the fundamental tools to support progression from beginner riding to advanced, using Long Term Equestrian Development (LTED) as developed by the Coaching Association of Canada in partnership with Equestrian Canada.

• Lessons offered from complete beginner to advanced competition riders, starting at age 7 to Adult lessons

• All lessons taught by Equestrian Canada trained Instructors & Coaches, with emphasis on sound basics of equitation and good horsemanship

• Safety of both horse and rider is emphasized for all lessons

• Riders will enjoy working with our 30 experienced Schoolie horses, of all different breeds, colors and sizes

• Riding School students will have the opportunity to participate in additional activities such as:

  • In-House Horse Shows

  • OE Skills Development Horse Shows

  • Equestrian Canada Rider Level Testing

  • Leasing

  • Spring, Summer & Winter Camps
